Billing Support
This page explains how billing works for PenPal Mail, how to manage a subscription, and what to do if you have payment or renewal questions.
1. Subscription Billing
PenPal Mail currently uses recurring subscriptions for premium access. If premium features are enabled by the service administrator, the available plan and renewal terms are shown in the billing area of your account.
2. Payment Provider
Payments are processed through a third-party billing provider. PenPal Mail may store the subscription, invoice, payment, and event data required to activate premium access, manage renewals, investigate failed charges, and provide billing support.
3. Where to Manage Your Subscription
You can review and manage your subscription from the Billing section inside your PenPal Mail account. From there you can see your current plan, subscription status, and recent billing activity when available.
4. Canceling a Subscription
If you cancel an active subscription, premium access may end immediately or at the close of the current billing period, depending on how the billing flow is configured. The billing screen and your subscription status should be treated as the current source of truth for your account.
5. Failed Payments and Expired Billing
If a renewal charge fails, your premium access may be limited, paused, or removed. Failed payments can happen because of expired cards, declined transactions, fraud checks, insufficient funds, or provider-side verification rules.
6. Charges, Receipts, and Billing Records
Your account may show subscription and payment history for support and account management purposes. Your bank or card statement may also display the charge using the descriptor supplied by the billing provider.
7. Refunds and Disputes
Refund handling depends on the billing provider workflow, the timing of the charge, local legal requirements, and the circumstances of the request. If you believe you were charged incorrectly, contact support before filing a chargeback whenever possible so the issue can be reviewed directly.
8. Duplicate or Unexpected Charges
If you see a duplicate or unexpected charge, first confirm whether you have more than one account or more than one subscription event on the same payment method. Then review your account billing history and gather the date, amount, and payment details before requesting support.
9. Security and Card Data
PenPal Mail does not rely on the app database as the primary storage location for full card information. Sensitive payment details are handled by the payment provider according to its own systems and compliance obligations.
10. Need Billing Help?
If you need help with a subscription, cancellation, renewal, or billing issue, use the support path provided by the service operator and include enough information to identify the account safely, such as your username, billing email, charge date, and amount. Do not send full card numbers through normal support messages.
